The best rare grooves just need to be brought to the people! Even though I come from a digital generation that only got to see it phased out, physical media amazed me as a semi-permanent piece of a larger tradition. I started working in Seattle record stores at 16: Easy Street, Jive Time, Neptune, then Al’s. Quickly I committed to only collecting original pressings, with a large interest towards international records. I then later brought them all in a shipping crate to New York! I want to make your event or party the grooviest and most authentic in the city, starring jazz and funk laced tracks with no digital footprint. I can provide my own turntables, mixer, and speaker system if needed. I received a BA in Jazz Studies on Saxophone from the University of Washington and have also incorporated live sax into my DJ performances.
